abstract |
The present disclosure relates to electrode layers and electrode layer materials for ion intercalation batteries, wherein the electrode layer material has good electronic conductivity and good ionic conductivity, and wherein the electrode layer provides good rate performance and high storage capacity. The present disclosure also relates to ion intercalation cells and batteries including such electrode layers (eg, as anodes). The present disclosure also relates to methods for forming such electrode layers and methods for fabricating ion intercalation cells and batteries. The electrode layer according to the present disclosure contains chlorine-containing titanium oxide and can be deposited by atomic layer deposition at temperatures below 150°C. |
