abstract The invention discloses a modified graphene slurry for an epoxy zinc-rich coating and a preparation method thereof, wherein the modified graphene slurry comprises the following components in parts by weight: 1-10 parts of galvanized graphene, 0.5-10 parts of dispersing agent, 0.1-1 part of anti-settling agent, 1-10 parts of coupling agent and 70-98 parts of diluent. According to the invention, a direct-current magnetron sputtering method is adopted to deposit metal zinc on the surface of graphene to prepare galvanized graphene, then the galvanized graphene is used as a raw material, and dispersion processes such as grinding, shearing, emulsifying and the like are used for preparing modified graphene slurry, so that the shielding and corrosion prevention effects of the graphene and the electrochemical corrosion prevention effect of zinc can be fully exerted in the coating, the usage amount of the zinc powder only needs 1/12-1/7 of the zinc powder in the existing graphene epoxy zinc-rich coating, the production cost of the epoxy zinc-rich coating is greatly reduced, the problems of easy agglomeration, difficult dispersion and the like of the graphene in the coating application are solved, the adhesion, flexibility and impact resistance of the coating are improved, and the neutral salt spray resistant time of the coating is improved by 3-5 times.
