abstract | The invention relates to a C21 steroid saponin compound and application thereof in preparing anti-lung cancer drugs. The biological experiment result shows that the compound can inhibit the migration of tumor cells and make the tumor cells in the G0/G1 stage. In addition, the apoptosis of tumor cells can be induced by up-regulating Bax and down-regulating Bcl-2 expression, thereby releasing Cytochrome c and finally activating Caspase 3 and Caspase 9. Caspase 8 may also be activated and apoptosis induced by the death receptor pathway. The compound can inhibit the migration and invasion of tumor cells by down-regulating the expression of MMP-2 and MMP-9 proteins, has obvious effect and achieves the effect of resisting lung cancer. |
