abstract | The field of the present invention relates to a new high-purity 5-[2-cyclopropyl-1-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl]-4 of formula (I) suitable for industrial scale preparation ,5,6,7-tetrahydrothieno[3,2-c]pyridin-2-yl acetate, the preparation method of prasugrel. Especially in large scale production, one of the main reasons for impurity build-up is the use of ether solvents, therefore ethers are excluded in every step of the process. Avoiding ethers in different steps of our method leads to new conditions for the production of intermediates. Conditions are determined so that each step from the beginning helps to minimize the impurity content of the final product. |
