The present invention provides a positive electrode material, a preparation method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery. The positive electrode material has a core-shell structure, which sequentially includes: a fluorine-doped lithium vanadyl phosphate inner core layer; an intermediate transition layer containing lithium pyrophosphate; and a carbon layer surface coating layer. The positive electrode material of the present invention has high lithium ion diffusion rate and electronic conductivity, and the lithium secondary battery using the positive electrode material has high first discharge gram capacity and excellent storage performance, cycle performance and rate performance. |
