abstract The invention discloses a marine cable sheathing material with high strength and high corrosion resistance, which is composed according to the weight fraction of the following raw materials: 53-68 parts of nitrile rubber, 19-24 parts of polyvinyl alcohol resin, polytetrafluoroethylene 15-21 parts, 3-9 parts of ammonium hydrogencarbonate, 2-6 parts of barium stearate, 1-4 parts of vinyltrimethoxysilane, 2-7 parts of polytetramethylene ether glycol, dialkyl sulfonate 1 - 5 parts of sodium, 1 - 4 parts of manganese acetate, 2 - 5 parts of sodium chromate, 1 - 4 parts of hexamethylenetetramine, 1 - 5 parts of benzyl silicone oil, 3 - 10 parts of zinc oxide, ammonia 1‐4 parts, 2-7 parts of borax, 1‐5 parts of silica, 1‐6 parts of glass fiber, 1-2 parts of talc, 2‐5 parts of liquid paraffin, 2-6 parts of titanium dioxide, antioxidant BHT1 - 4 parts, 2 - 5 parts of maleic anhydride grafting compatibilizer, 1 - 4 parts of vulcanizing agent, 1 - 4 parts of anti-aging agent. The invention improves the hardness and corrosion resistance of the cable jacket. The cable sheathing material has reasonable distribution ratio, excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance, and can have little change in parameters under acidic and alkaline conditions as well as wet and hot conditions, and the performance parameters are stable.
