abstract The invention discloses a zinc coordination polymer single crystal with green fluorescent property and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of fluorescent materials, wherein the structural formula of the zinc coordination polymer single crystal is {[Zn(L)(H 2 ) O)]·(H 2 O)} n , belonging to the monoclinic system, P2(1)/c space group, wherein the ligand L is 3‐(carboxymethylimino-methyl)‐2‐hydroxy-benzene Formic acid; the polymer single crystal is prepared by a solvothermal synthesis method using a Schiff base obtained by condensing an amino acid with a 3-aldehyde salicylic acid as a ligand and zinc sulfate. The zinc coordination polymer single crystal prepared by the invention has green fluorescent property and has an emission wavelength of 510 nm (ultraviolet light having an excitation wavelength of 370 nm), which is a typical green fluorescence.
