abstract The invention relates to a BOPET film for metal compounding and a preparation method thereof, wherein the BOPET film for metal compounding comprises an upper surface layer, a core layer and a lower surface layer, wherein the core layer comprises 60-80% of PET polyester chips, 10-20% of PBT polyester chips and 10-20% of neopentyl glycol copolymerization modified PET polyester chips; the upper surface layer consists of 40 to 60 percent of bottle-grade PET polyester chips and 40 to 60 percent of PET polyester anti-sticking master batch; the lower surface layer is a methyl methacrylate graft copolymerization modified PETG heat-seal slice; compared with the traditional BOPET film and the BOPET heat-sealing film, the BOPET film for metal compounding has excellent performances in the aspects of heat sealing, fracture nominal strain, heat shrinkage rate and the like, and has good compounding fastness after being thermally laminated with metal; the BOPET film can be attached to metals such as iron plates, steel plates and aluminum plates through hot pressing, and is used for producing chemical tanks, food tanks and capacitors.
