The present application relates to the field of energy storage materials, and in particular, to an electrolyte and an electrochemical device. The electrolyte of the present application contains additive A and additive B, and additive A is selected from at least one of the polynitrile six-membered nitrogen heterocyclic compounds shown in formula I-1, formula I-2 or formula I-3, and the additive B is at least one selected from cyclic carbonate compounds having an unsaturated bond. The electrolytic solution described above is contained in the electrochemical device of the present application. The electrolyte of the present application can effectively passivate the surface activity of the positive electrode material, inhibit its oxidative effect on the electrolyte, effectively reduce the gas production of the battery, and also form an anode SEI film, which hinders the contact between the anode and the electrolyte, thereby significantly reducing side reactions . The electrochemical device using the electrolyte of the present application has excellent high temperature and high pressure cycle performance and storage performance. |
