titleOfInvention | Glycerol dehydratase gene independent of coenzyme B12 and application thereof |
abstract | The invention provides a glycerol dehydratase gene independent of coenzyme B12 and application thereof, the gene can utilize S-adenosylmethionine as a cofactor to catalyze glycerol dehydration and has tolerance to oxygen, the gene is derived from the glycerol dehydratase of Bacillus caseii, Vibrio diazotrophicus, Klebsiella oxytoca KCRI-567C, and the glycerol dehydratase gene comprises a catalytic subunit and an activation subunit respectively; the recombinant microorganism containing the gene is used for producing products such as 1, 3-propanediol and the like by fermentation, coenzyme B12 is not required to be additionally added in the fermentation process, the dehydration of glycerol can be catalyzed, meanwhile, the product has certain tolerance to oxygen, the 1, 3-propanediol can be produced by using the product under the condition of micro-oxygen or anaerobic, and the fermentation production cost is obviously reduced. |
