The present invention relates to fluoropolymer filaments for 3D printing and 3D printed fluoropolymer articles having low warpage, excellent chemical resistance, excellent water resistance, flame retardancy and good mechanical integrity. Furthermore, the articles of the present invention do not require special packaging to have good shelf life. Specifically, the present invention relates to silk, 3D printed polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) products, and in particular to material extrusion 3D printing. The articles may be formed from PVDF homopolymers, copolymers, and polymer blends with appropriately defined low shear melt viscosities, such as from Arkema. resin. The PVDF can optionally be a filled PVDF formulation. By optimizing the processing parameters, the physical properties of the 3D printed article can be maximized and warpage can be minimized. |
