The present invention provides a method for producing a calcium carbonate sintered body, which can be sintered at a lower temperature and can produce a calcium carbonate sintered body with a higher density. The above-mentioned calcium carbonate sintered body is characterized by comprising: a step of preparing calcium carbonate and a sintering aid, wherein the sintering aid is a mixture of potassium fluoride, lithium fluoride and sodium fluoride, and has a melting point of 600° C. or less; A step of producing a molded body by compression molding a mixture of calcium carbonate and a sintering aid mixed so that the additive is 0.1 to 3.0 mass %, and a step of producing a calcium carbonate sintered body by sintering the molded body. |
