abstract | The present disclosure relates to a display panel and a manufacturing method thereof. The display panel includes an active element array substrate, a counter substrate, a display medium layer, a first encapsulation layer, a second encapsulation layer and a flexible circuit board. The active element array substrate includes a substrate and a plurality of pixel structures disposed thereon. The opposite substrate is arranged opposite to the active element array substrate and does not cover part of the active element array substrate. The display medium and the first packaging layer are arranged between the active element array substrate and the opposite substrate. The second encapsulation layer is disposed on the uncovered portion of the active element array substrate and surrounds the display medium layer together with the first encapsulation layer. The difference between the Vickers hardness of the second encapsulation layer and the substrate is -550-150HV. The flexible circuit board is arranged on at least one side of the active element array substrate and the second packaging layer. |
