abstract A method for testing the residual stress of a welding joint based on a three-dimensional optical measurement technology and a profile method, and pretreatment before welding; after welding, cutting a welding test plate perpendicular to the middle section of a welding seam, and carrying out XJTU-OM shooting on the cut test plate to obtain calculated measurement point cloud data; and marks the two cut planes as cut planes A, B; the measured point cloud data is subjected to preliminary denoising fitting by adopting Geomagic qualify to extrude the width of a scanning data band, so as to obtain a primary denoising point cloud; denoising the primary denoising point cloud obtained in the third step through MATLAB according to the grid size mean value, and interpolating contour data between points to obtain a fitting contour of the cutting surface A, B; fitting the profiles of the cutting surfaces A measured by the XJTU-OM for mirroring, then carrying out point-by-point averaging on the profiles of the two cutting surfaces A, B, and generating a model with displacement deviation through MATLAB for final elastic calculation; stress calculation and analysis show that the method has the advantages of important theoretical and engineering values for testing the residual stress of the welding part.
