abstract The invention discloses a composite solvent for recovering CS 2 in viscose fiber waste gas by an absorption method and its application. The composite solvent comprises polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether (NHD), N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) or N, N- Dimethylformamide or butyl glycol ether or 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene component. The composite solvent is used to absorb CS 2 in viscose fiber waste gas to obtain purified gas and absorption rich liquid, and the rich liquid is recycled after being regenerated by vacuum distillation. The composite solvent can effectively improve the dissolving ability of CS 2. Compared with pure NHD solvent to recover CS 2 waste gas, it has the advantages of high solubility and high purification rate. High stability, economical and environmental protection, long service life and other advantages.
