abstract The invention provides a process method for improving the quality of a reconstituted tobacco which is heated and not combusted by a thick paste method and an application thereof, in the process of manufacturing the reconstituted tobacco which is heated and not combusted by the thick paste method, materials are added in two steps to prepare a homogenate, a biological material immobilized carrier is used for absorbing a composite biological agent in the first step, tobacco raw materials are subjected to absorption fermentation pretreatment, after the carrier is removed by filtration, the pretreated tobacco raw materials are subjected to high-temperature catalytic lignin cracking under an alkaline condition for aroma enhancement, thorn reduction and maillard reaction for aroma enhancement, and then the reconstituted tobacco which is heated and not combusted is prepared by the conventional process of the thick paste method, so that the reconstituted tobacco is rich in smoke aroma, has excellent milk aroma, moderate chocolate aroma and baking aroma, strength, reduced irritation and reduced spicy taste, the smoking taste is improved, and the woody smell is reduced; the cigarette is applied to novel heating non-combustible cigarettes, has harmonious and elegant fragrance, improves the cigarette fragrance, improves the smoking taste and has comfortable mouthfeel.
