abstract The present invention provides a small-sized gas sensor device having a gas detection portion including a coil-shaped heater portion that suppresses power consumption. The package body (15) includes a base (40) having a recess formed therein, and the height from the uppermost part to the lowermost part of the cover (20) is 5 mm or less. The first to third electrodes (83) are fixed around the recess (41) in a state of being embedded in the base (20). The gas detection element (60) has a gas detection part including a coil-shaped heater part, and a plurality of metal lead wires extending from the gas detection part to the first electrode to the third electrode (83). The gas detection element (60) is fixed in a state in which a gas detection part including a heater part is suspended in a space in and on the recessed part by a plurality of lead wires so as not to contact the wall of the recessed part.
