abstract Discloses poly (glycolide-co-lactide) and poly (p-dioxanone) composite fibers, a preparation method, application and a surgical suture line thereof. In the composite fiber, the poly (glycolide-co-lactide) fiber is a core layer of the composite fiber, and the poly (p-dioxanone) is a skin layer of the composite fiber. The preparation method comprises the following steps: respectively obtaining a poly (glycolide-co-lactide) slice and a poly (p-dioxanone) slice; and performing composite spinning on the poly (glycolide-co-lactide) slices and the poly (p-dioxanone) slices to enable the poly (glycolide-co-lactide) to be positioned in a core layer of the composite fiber, and the poly (p-dioxanone) wraps the poly (glycolide-co-lactide) to form a skin layer of the composite fiber, so as to obtain the poly (glycolide-co-lactide) and poly (glycolide-co-lactide) composite fiber. The composite fiber can be used for surgical suture. The surgical suture is prepared by the composite fiber. The tensile strength of the composite fiber ranges from 4.6CN/dtex to 5.0CN/dtex, the elongation at break ranges from 30 percent to 40 percent, the requirement of an operation suture can be met, and meanwhile, the manufacturing cost is low.
