titleOfInvention | Method for cultivating transgenic wheat with resistance to sheath blight and root rot and related biological material thereof |
abstract | The invention discloses a method for cultivating transgenic wheat with resistance to sheath blight and root rot and a related biological material thereof. The method for cultivating disease-resistant transgenic wheat comprises the step of introducing a coding gene of protein with an amino acid sequence shown as SEQ ID No.2 into receptor wheat to obtain transgenic wheat with disease resistance higher than that of the receptor wheat; the disease resistance is resistance to sheath blight and/or resistance to root rot. The transgenic experiment of introducing the TaOCS into wheat proves that the resistance of transgenic wheat over-expressed by the TaOCS to sheath blight and root rot is obviously improved compared with receptor wheat, which indicates that the TaOCS is a protein related to the sheath blight and the root rot of plants, and the TaOCS and a coding gene thereof can be used for improving the resistance of the plants to the sheath blight and/or the root rot. |
