The invention provides a pixel defining layer, its preparation material and preparation method, and a display substrate, and relates to the technical field of display. The raw materials for the preparation of the pixel defining layer include the following components in mass percentage: 5%-30% lyophobic film-forming polymer, 0.5%-1% lyophilic magnetic nanoparticles, 0.5%-2% photoinitiator agent, 0.1%-1% of reactive monomer, 0.1%-1% of additive and the balance of solvent. Through the synergistic effect of the components in the above proportions, a pixel-defining layer with a gradient from lyophobic to lyophilic can be formed from the top to the bottom, which can effectively prevent the pixel raw material solution from spreading on the top of the pixel area and contaminating adjacent pixels. The pixel raw material solution can also be spread evenly at the bottom of the pixel area to form a pixel layer with a uniform thickness. During the preparation process, the lyophilic magnetic nanoparticles can be induced to the lower part of the defining layer body by an external magnetic field, so as to impart lyophilic properties to the lower part of the defining layer body, which effectively simplifies the preparation process. |
