abstract | The present invention provides a battery packaging material capable of effectively suppressing battery unsealing even when the battery is exposed to high temperature. The battery packaging material includes a laminate having at least a base material layer, a barrier layer, an adhesive layer, and a heat-sealable resin layer in this order, and heat-seals the above-mentioned heat-sealable resin layers in a state facing each other. The packaging material is water-encapsulated, and when the temperature is raised to the unsealing test temperature T°C above 100°C under vacuum, and the above-mentioned battery packaging material is not opened within 10 minutes after reaching the above-mentioned unsealing test temperature T°C. The melting peak temperature of the adhesive layer is higher than the above-mentioned unsealing test temperature T°C by 10°C or more. |
