abstract |
The present disclosure provides a method of forming carbon quantum dots, which includes mixing carbon powder with sulfuric acid and nitric acid, and heating the carbon powder mixture to reflux to oxidize the carbon powder. The method further includes isolating and purifying the carbon quantum dots. The present disclosure further provides the use of carbon quantum dots for diagnostic analysis (eg, bone analysis), fibrosis inhibition, and drug delivery. |
