The invention discloses a non-aqueous lithium ion electrolyte and a lithium ion battery using the electrolyte. The electrolyte includes one or more than two compounds shown in structural formula 1, wherein R1, R2, R3, and R4 are each independently selected from hydrogen, cyano, halogen atoms or groups containing 1-5 carbon atoms. Due to the presence of the compound shown in Structural Formula 1, the lithium-ion battery electrolyte provided by the present invention can be applied to high-nickel ternary lithium-ion batteries with a voltage range of 4.4V-4.5V and can improve the normal and high temperature cycle performance and high temperature storage performance and low temperature discharge performance. |
