abstract The invention relates to an anti-WSSV peptide LvHcS52 derived from litopenaeus vannamei hemocyanin, and the amino acid sequence is shown as SEQ ID NO: 1, and the coding gene is shown as SEQ ID NO: 2, respectively. The short peptide LvHcS52 can obviously inhibit the transcription of the WSSV very early gene wsv069 and the late gene wsv421 at both the animal level and the in vitro cell level, and can also obviously inhibit the proliferation of WSSV in vivo; can activate STAT signal channel in prawn blood cell, and initiate transcription of antibacterial peptide at downstream of the signal channel to exert function of resisting WSSV. The anti-WSSV peptide LvHcS52 can be used as a preparation for inhibiting WSSV and can be added into feed as an additive to improve the anti-WSSV capability of prawns.
