abstract The invention discloses an aggregated leukocyte segmentation and counting system, which comprises: the image acquisition module is used for staining white blood cells in a blood sample, dissolving the red blood cells in the blood sample by using red blood cell lysate and acquiring a white blood cell image; the image preprocessing module is used for removing the image background of the white blood cell image, obtaining an optimal segmentation threshold value by adopting a maximum inter-class variance method and roughly segmenting the white blood cell region; the aggregated cell judging module is used for obtaining a roughly segmented image according to the roughly segmented white blood cell region, setting a discrimination function of the cell area and obtaining a multi-cell aggregated region; and the aggregated cell segmentation and counting module is used for extracting cytoskeletons in each aggregation area and gray level curves at the cytoskeletons by adopting a morphological thinning method. The invention constructs the self-adaptive threshold function by analyzing the area gray scale characteristics of various types of white blood cells under a low power microscope, obtains the quantity of eosinophils while obtaining the white blood cell count, and rapidly and accurately segments and counts the cells in the aggregation region, and is rapid, simple and easy to realize.
