titleOfInvention Method for direct catalysis of dimerization of 5-methylfurfuryl alcohol by solid phosphotungstic acid
abstract The invention discloses a method for directly catalyzing biomass-based 5-methylfurfuryl alcohol dimerization by using solid phosphotungstic acid, which comprises the following steps: taking solid phosphotungstic acid as a catalyst, 5-methylfurfuryl alcohol as an initial raw material, reacting for 5-13h at the temperature of 30-90 ℃ under the condition that dichloromethane is used as a solvent, and filtering to separate the catalyst and a product after the reaction is finished to obtain a dimeric compound. The method has mild reaction conditions and simple catalyst preparation process, and overcomes the defects of complicated reaction path, multiple steps, long time consumption, harsh reaction conditions and the like in the prior art.
