abstract The invention relates to a tobacco powder borer repellent and a preparation method thereof, the repellent is prepared from 20-30 parts of nano montmorillonite powder, 60-80 parts of polyethylene glycol, 30-40 parts of gum arabic-gelatin and 100-200 parts of 10wt% agar melt adhesive, and the preparation method specifically comprises the following steps: mixing the dragon juniper essential oil and the nano montmorillonite powder under stirring to ensure that the dragon juniper essential oil is fully adsorbed by the nano montmorillonite; and putting the nano-montmorillonite adsorbed with the dragon juniper essential oil into the Arabic gum-gelatin to form a montmorillonite coating. Drying the montmorillonite coated with the Arabic gum-gelatin to obtain granules; and dispersing the prepared granules in polyethylene glycol, pouring the dispersed granules into agar melt adhesive, stirring and dispersing the granules uniformly, and cooling the granules to obtain the tobacco powder borer repellent. The repellent prepared by the invention is efficient, nontoxic, safe, free of pollution to tobacco, long in action time, very suitable for being used in a closed tobacco warehouse, and high in popularization and application value.
