titleOfInvention Salvia miltiorrhiza terpene synthase gene SmTPS8, cloning primer, expression vector, catalytic product and application thereof
abstract The invention discloses a terpene synthase gene sequence (SmTPS8) mainly used for catalyzing and synthesizing trans-nerolidol of sesquiterpene compounds, sabinene and beta-myrcene in salvia miltiorrhiza bunge; the SmTPS8 gene provided by the invention has a nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID No.1, and the gene coding protein has an amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID No. 2. The invention utilizes the obtained SmTPS8 gene sequence to verify the gene function by detecting the catalytic product of the gene. The results show that SmTPS8 has mainly monoterpene synthase activity in salvia miltiorrhiza transgenic plants and sesquiterpene synthase activity in escherichia coli. Trans-nerolidol ([ E ] -nerolidol) has strong fragrance and bioactivity, and is an important raw material for pharmaceutical, food, spice and cosmetic industries. The invention lays a foundation for researching the pennatal metabolic pathway of the salvia miltiorrhiza terpenes based on the SmTPS8 gene function, and is beneficial to developing the commercial application of sesquiterpene compounds and monoterpene compounds catalyzed and synthesized by SmTPS8 in the aspects of medicine, spice and biological control.
