abstract The ultrasonic transducer has a flexible film and a piezoelectric element provided on the flexible film. The piezoelectric element has a piezoelectric body and a first electrode, a second electrode, a third electrode, and a fourth electrode in contact with the piezoelectric body. The first electrode and the second electrode are separated by sandwiching the piezoelectric body between the first electrode and the second electrode, and are overlapped in plan view viewed from the thickness direction of the piezoelectric body, and the third electrode and the fourth electrode are separated by the third electrode. The fourth electrode is separated from the fourth electrode with the piezoelectric body interposed therebetween and overlaps in a plan view, the first electrode and the third electrode are separated in a plan view, and the second electrode and the fourth electrode are separated in a plan view.
