abstract The invention provides a method for extracting quercetin and bergenin from Japanese ardisia, which comprises the following steps: pulverizing Japanese ardisia herb, adding diethyl ether, refluxing, leaching and filtering to obtain filtrate I and filter residue I; adding the filter residue I into trichoderma fermentation liquor and aspergillus niger fermentation liquor for fermentation, adding ethanol for reflux extraction, and filtering to obtain filtrate II; concentrating the filtrate II under reduced pressure, mixing with methanol, loading onto macroporous resin column, and eluting with methanol to obtain eluate; concentrating the eluate under reduced pressure, standing overnight at 4-8 deg.C for crystallization, and recrystallizing to obtain pure bergenin and quercitrin.
