abstract | The present invention relates to a crosslinked polyurethane obtainable by a process in which (a) a polyisocyanate and (b) are made to have at least two hydrogen atoms reactive towards isocyanate groups and comprise (b1) and optionally ( The polymer of b2): (b1) at least one diene block copolymer having at least two isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms and having a polydiene backbone and at least one diene block copolymer consisting of a polyether and/or polyester constituted side or end chains wherein the weight percent of the polydiene backbone is from 25 to 95 weight percent, based on the total weight of the diene block copolymer (b1 ), and (b2) has at least two isocyanate groups. Other polymers of reactive hydrogen atoms; optionally (c) a catalyst; optionally (d) a vulcanizing agent; optionally (e) a chain extender and/or a crosslinking agent; optionally (f) a hair A foaming agent; and optionally (g) adjuvants and/or additives are mixed to form a reaction mixture, the mixture is cured to form a crosslinkable polyurethane, and the double bonds of the diene copolymer (b1) are crosslinked. The invention also relates to composites and blends of cross-linked polyurethane and rubber, and to the use of said cross-linked polyurethane as tires or tire components, cable jackets, shoe soles, rollers or hoses. |
