titleOfInvention Partial write block processing
abstract The present invention relates to partial write block processing. An example method includes maintaining, within a memory device, a state corresponding to a last written page of a partially written block. In response to receiving a read request from the controller for a page of the partially written block, the example method may include relying on page mapping information maintained internally to the memory device and based on all of the last written pages. The state determines which of several different read trim sets will be used to read the page of the partially written block corresponding to the read request.
