titleOfInvention | MdMYB98 gene for regulating and controlling seed quantity in apple and application thereof |
abstract | The invention relates to an MdMYB98 gene for regulating and controlling seed quantity in apples and application thereof, wherein the MdMYB98 gene sequence is shown as SEQ.ID.NO. 1. The overexpression vector of the MdMYB98 gene is transferred into an Arabidopsis mutant to obtain transgenic Arabidopsis, the length of a pod of a MdMYB98 transgenic Arabidopsis plant is found to be partially recovered, and the MdMYB98 gene plays a role in promoting pollen tube development and seed formation in Arabidopsis. The invention obtains a DNA fragment of a complete coding segment of a gene for regulating the quantity of seeds, which is separated and cloned from apples, for the first time by a plant genetic engineering technology, and verifies the function of the gene in arabidopsis thaliana. |
