abstract | The present invention provides a synergistic herbicidal composition comprising as active ingredients, topramezone, mesotrione and atrazine, wherein the weight ratio of topramezone, mesotrione and atrazine is from 1 to 10: 1 to 50: 1 to 100, and the use of the synergistic herbicidal composition of the present invention for controlling undesired plant growth. The present invention also provides a method for controlling undesired plant growth, which comprises applying the active ingredients of the synergistic herbicidal composition of the present invention, topramezone, and atrazine, to the undesired plants or their growing locus, together or separately. The present invention also provides methods for reducing or preventing damage caused by topramezone when applied to plants, seeds, or other reproductive portions of useful crops. |
