titleOfInvention Method for preparing high-quality mesophase pitch by co-carbonization method
abstract A method for preparing high-quality mesophase pitch by a co-carbonization method belongs to the technical field of deep processing of coal tar pitch. The method takes a small amount of mesophase pitch as an additive and takes refined coal pitch as a raw material to prepare the high-quality mesophase pitch. Firstly, putting refined coal pitch and a small amount of mesophase pitch additive into a crusher together for crushing and uniformly mixing, and then putting the mixture into a high-temperature high-pressure reaction kettle for direct thermal polymerization to obtain a high-quality mesophase pitch product. The addition of a small amount of mesophase pitch in the invention obviously accelerates the formation of mesophase pitch products in the kettle, reduces the temperature required for refining coal pitch to form mesophase pitch, and shortens the time. The product obtained by the invention has the mesophase content of more than 98 percent, has a wide-area streamline optical structure, lower softening point and ash content and good spinnability, and can be used for preparing high-performance carbon materials such as carbon fibers and the like.
