The present invention relates to the use of a one-component laminating adhesive for lamination of composite films, and to a method for lamination of composite films. The laminating adhesive comprises an aqueous polymer dispersion which can be prepared by free-radical emulsion polymerization of monomers comprising a) at least 60% by weight relative to the total amount of monomers at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of C1 to C20 alkyl acrylates, C1 to C20 alkyl methacrylates, vinyl esters of carboxylic acids containing up to 20 carbon atoms, vinyl aromatics, vinyl halides, vinyl ethers of alcohols containing up to 10 carbon atoms, aliphatic hydrocarbons having 2 to 8 carbon atoms and one or two double bonds, and mixtures of said monomers; and b) at least 0.1% by weight, relative to the total amount of monomers, of at least one monomer having at least one acid group; and c) 0.1 to 5% by weight, relative to the total amount of monomers, of at least one monomer having at least one acid group; An ethylenically unsaturated compound having at least one functional group selected from a ketone group and an aldehyde group, wherein the aqueous polymer dispersion comprises at least one ethylenically unsaturated compound having at least two functional groups capable of crosslinking with a ketone group or an aldehyde group Compound A; wherein the molar ratio of the groups reactive with ketone or aldehyde groups of compound A to the ketone and aldehyde groups of monomer b) has a value of 1:10 to 2:1; and wherein for the composite film layer Press, at least two films are firmly adhered to each other using a laminating adhesive so that the peel strength is 2.5N/15mm or more, or the films bonded together can be separated only by breaking at least one film. The composite film can be used for food packaging. |
