The invention relates to a composite material for a protective air vent having at least one carrier layer and an electrospun membrane arranged on the at least one carrier layer, wherein the electrospun membrane consists of superposed fibers which overlap one another to form a porous structure, whereby the porous structure is designed, whereby the carrier layer comprises a monofilament fabric, a plasma coating is applied to both the electrospun membrane and the monofilament fabric of the at least one carrier layer, and an adhesive is provided connecting the carrier layer and the membrane. Furthermore, the invention relates to a corresponding method for manufacturing the inventive protective vent. |
