abstract The invention discloses a catalytic oxidation synthesis method of 3-mercaptoindole compounds using disulfide as a sulfur source, using indole compounds and disulfide as reaction substrates, and using potassium iodide and sodium nitrite as catalysts. Using acetic acid as an auxiliary agent and oxygen as an oxidant, the reaction substrate is reacted in an organic solvent at normal pressure and a temperature of 40-80°C. After the reaction is completed, the 3-mercaptoindole compound is obtained by separation and treatment . The synthesis method of the invention is simple and safe to operate, uses clean oxygen as the terminal oxidant, greatly reduces environmental costs, and has mild reaction conditions.
