The invention discloses a method for synergistically catalyzing monoarylated diols with light/nickel. The method directly uses simple and easy-to-obtain brominated aromatic hydrocarbons and diols as raw materials, adopts BODIPY-type organic photosensitizers and cheap nickel sources without adding The ligand synergistically catalyzes the cross-coupling between diols and brominated aromatics to achieve selective monoarylation of diol compounds with a mono/bisarylation ratio of up to 18:1. This method has good functional group tolerance and is suitable for diol compounds with different structures, such as vicinal diol, 1,3-diol, 1,4-diol, monodisperse polyethylene glycol, etc. More importantly, the amount of photosensitizer used in the method of the invention is low, the reaction temperature is close to room temperature, and the method is green, economical and efficient. These advantages make the present invention have higher scale synthesis value and can serve social and economic development. |
