abstract | The present invention provides a block copolymer useful as a dispersant and having excellent heat resistance. A block copolymer is characterized in that it has an A block and a B block, the A block comprises a structural unit derived from a vinyl monomer having an acidic group, and the B block comprises the following general formula A structural unit represented by (1) and a structural unit represented by the following general formula (2). In formulas (1) and (2), R 11 , R 12 , R 13 , R 21 and R 22 each independently represent a chain or cyclic hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent. Two or more of R 11 , R 12 and R 13 may bond to each other and form a ring structure. R 21 and R 22 may bond to each other and form a ring structure. X 1 and X 2 represent divalent linking groups. R 14 and R 23 represent a hydrogen atom or a methyl group. Y - represents at least one selected from the group consisting of aromatic dicarboxylic acid imide anions, aromatic sulfonic acid anions, aromatic phosphonic acid anions and aromatic carboxylic acid anions. |
