titleOfInvention | Method for growing metal carbide on metal surface |
abstract | The invention belongs to a preparation technology of metal carbide growing on the surface of metal, and relates to a method for growing metal carbide on the surface of metal. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step one, sputtering tungsten, zirconium or tungsten-zirconium alloy on the surface of a metal substrate in a magnetron sputtering mode to form a compact thin film layer; step two, heating the metal matrix to 100-500 ℃, preserving heat for 0.5-1 hour, and cooling to room temperature; and thirdly, enabling the carbon plasma to react with the thin film layer of the metal substrate through a plasma chemical vapor deposition system to generate tungsten carbide and/or zirconium carbide. The invention can grow the zirconium carbide, tungsten carbide or the zirconium carbide and tungsten carbide composite layer on the surface of the metal bar, plate or foil with the melting point of more than 500 ℃, and improve the mechanical properties of the surface of the metal bar, plate or foil, including strength, wear resistance, toughness and impact strength. |
