abstract The invention relates to a method and a reagent for improving the homing and implanting rates of hematopoietic stem cells. The method of the invention uses the small molecular peptide as the main component to pretreat the hematopoietic stem cells, improves the homing and implanting efficiency of the hematopoietic stem cells in vivo, shortens the time required by the reconstruction of a hematopoietic system, improves the success rate of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and makes up the current situation of insufficient sources of the hematopoietic stem cells. In addition, intravenous low dose infusion of small molecule peptides has no adverse effect on human safety. Therefore, the invention also provides the application of the small molecule peptide in preparing the medicine for treating the blood system diseases.
