titleOfInvention System for determining sensitivity of glioma patient to temozolomide
abstract The present disclosure relates to a system for determining a patient with glioma to be sensitive to temozolomide, comprising a computing device, an input device for inputting a pyrosequencing result of MGMT promoter methylation, and an output device for outputting a patient's sensitivity to temozolomide treatment; the computing device includes a memory having a computer program stored therein and a processor configured to execute the computer program stored in the memory to implement a training algorithm and a discrimination algorithm, the discrimination algorithm including: if the methylation ratio of at least 3 of the at least 4 controlled CpG sites of a patient with a glioma is greater than the respective decision threshold, the patient with glioma is indicated to have low sensitivity to temozolomide. Through the technical scheme, the accuracy of predicting the sensitivity of the patient to the temozolomide chemotherapy can be improved.
