The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) and (II) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts and prodrugs thereof, wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , X, Y, Z and W are as defined in the specification. Such compounds are protein kinase inhibitors, especially protein kinase inhibitor Mek inhibitors, and are useful in the treatment of cancer and inflammation in mammals.
