abstract | Various implementations relate generally to multi-sensor devices. Some implementations relate more specifically to multi-sensor devices comprising rings of radially oriented photosensors. Some implementations relate more specifically to multi-sensor devices that are orientation independent with respect to the central axis of the ring. Some implementations of the multi-sensor devices described herein also include one or more additional sensors. For example, some implementations include axially oriented photosensors. Some implementations may also include one or more temperature sensors configured to sense an outside temperature, eg, the ambient temperature of the outdoor environment surrounding the multiple sensors. Additionally or alternatively, some implementations may include a temperature sensor configured to sense internal temperature within the multi-sensor device. Particular implementations provide, characterize or enable compact form factors. Particular implementations provide, characterize, or implement a multi-sensor device that requires little or no wiring and, in some such instances, requires little or no wiring to which the multi-sensor device is mounted Intrusion, perforation or reconstruction of a building or other structure or does not require such intrusion, perforation or reconstruction. |
