abstract | In a thermosensitive recording material, diphenyl sulfone or color developer containing 3,3 '-diallyl-4, 4' -dihydroxy diphenyl sulfone, the content of a compound having a molecular weight of 650 to 670, typically 660 in mass spectrometry is reduced to 0.5 mass% or less. Thus, a thermosensitive recording material, diphenyl sulfone or a color-developing agent, which is reduced in background fogging under wet and hot conditions and is excellent in the storage stability of a developed image, is provided. |
