abstract The invention provides an information transmission method and system based on a power system universal service protocol, wherein the method comprises the following steps: the method comprises the steps that an automation equipment monitoring substation acquires operation information of automation equipment in a transformer substation; the substation forms an automation equipment operation information file in a CIM-E format based on the acquired operation information; the substation sends an event message with a file name of an automation equipment operation information file to the automation equipment monitoring main station based on a power system general service protocol; the master station receives the event message and calls an automatic equipment operation information file corresponding to the file name according to the file name in the event message; the substation sends the operation information file of the automation equipment to the main station; and the master station receives the operation information file of the automation equipment and analyzes the received operation information file of the automation equipment. The method and the system provide a timely and effective monitoring means for the dispatching end to master the operation condition of the automation equipment in the transformer substation.
