abstract The invention relates to single-component water-based black paint for automobiles and a preparation method thereof. The water-based single-component black paint for the automobile is prepared by mixing A, B, C three components according to the weight ratio of 4 (4-7) to 0.05-0.2, wherein the component A comprises the following components in parts by weight: 3-7.5 parts of high-pigment carbon black, 15-35 parts of water, 3-10 parts of methyl glycol, 0.3-2.5 parts of a base material wetting agent and 1.5-7.5 parts of a dispersing agent, wherein the component B is an aliphatic polyurethane dispersion, and the component C is a rheological agent. The single-component water-based black paint for the automobile, which is prepared by the invention, obviously improves the compatibility problem of raw materials and improves the fluidity, the storage stability, the gloss, the blackness and the blue phase.
