titleOfInvention Method for preparing 5-hydroxymethylfurfural by catalyzing carbohydrate with betaine salt
abstract The invention discloses a method for preparing 5-hydroxymethylfurfural by catalyzing carbohydrate with betaine salt, which comprises the following steps: (1) adding carbohydrate, betaine salt, Lewis acid metal chloride, water and methyl isobutyl ketone into a high-pressure reaction kettle, and heating for reaction to obtain a reaction phase and an extraction phase; (2) separating the reaction phase and the extraction phase obtained in the step (1), supplementing carbohydrate and methyl isobutyl ketone into the reaction phase, continuously utilizing betaine salt and metal chloride in the lower water phase to react under the same conditions in the step (1), and extracting the 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in situ by the methyl isobutyl ketone in a reaction kettle. The invention utilizes the main byproduct betaine in the beet sugar industry to prepare the biomass-based green sustainable catalyst, utilizes the byproduct betaine hydrochloride to catalyze cheap carbohydrates such as glucose, cellulose, original biomass and the like, and reasonably and maximally utilizes the use value of the byproduct in the beet sugar industry.
