abstract | The invention relates to a compounding process for the preparation of impact-modified polycarbonate compositions, in which components having an alkaline action or containing alkaline constituents are used. By the process according to the invention, the adverse effect of the components having an alkaline action on the properties of the polycarbonate moulding compound or on the surface of the moulded body made therefrom can be counteracted. The process comprises the steps (i), (ii) and optionally (iii), wherein (i) in a first step A) 10 to 98 parts by weight of at least one polymer from the group of aromatic polycarbonates and aromatic polyester carbonates, B) 0.001 to 0.3 parts by weight of at least one organic, i.e.carbon-and hydrogen-containing, Bronsted acid, C) 0.0001 to 0.008 parts by weight of at least one inorganic, i.e.carbon-free, phosphorus-containing compound which is Bronsted acidic, D) 1 to 90 parts by weight of at least one rubber-containing vinyl (co) polymer, E) 0 to 90 parts by weight of at least one polyester, F) 0 to 30 parts by weight of at least one additive, wherein the components B to C used in process step (i) are used in a ratio by weight of 2 to 100, are heated by introducing thermal and/or mechanical energy, at least such that the components A) and D) are thereby melted and all the components used are thereby mixed with one another, mutually dissolved or mutually dispersed, and in a further step (ii), the melt obtained from process step (i) (ii) is resolidified by cooling and (iii) optionally granulated, wherein the process steps (ii) and (iii) can be carried out in any order with respect to one another. The invention also relates to the compositions produced according to said method, to the use thereof for producing molded bodies and to the use of the molded bodies themselves and of the mixtures of B and C for stabilizing impact-modified polycarbonate compositions. |
